The objectives of the Victorian eHealth Network are to: provide a forum for communication among government, industry, research organisations and education providers in order to encourage enterprise and innovation in eHealth solutions encourage collaborative activities between participants to develop new knowledge and technology and leverage capabilities and strengths to win new business in the eHealth domain assist in attracting skilled people and investment to Victoria, through the provision of up-to-date and relevant information and links to eHealth industry opportunities promote the Network as a whole and the capabilities of its participants in national and international markets
Foundations In 2011, the Network became an independent incorporated association registered in Victoria. The Network’s activities during 2010 and 2011 were supported in part through the Victorian State Government’s ICT Linkages Program. As early as 2008 an informal Steering Committee began working to build the Network.
